Performance is an indicator of Productivity,but what is an indicator of Performance?
Is it the skills that you have which you make use of to just go with the flow of the work you are doing or is it something else?
You know, Today, It was my busy day but suddenly when I was randomly scrolling some articles on McKinsey Insights i found the interview article titled "Attributes—not skills— determine whether you ‘cut it’ or not"
This is an interview with Retired Navy SEAL commander "Rich Diviney".
Actually he had written one book named "The Attributes: 25 Hidden Drivers of Optimal Performance".
In that interview he mentioned the importance of attributes on top of skills which determines your performance itself.
Let me make it easy, actually whenever we are in stressful situations we somehow react totally different to the situations other than the way we do when we are in our comfort zone.
But when it comes to work we often face these stressful type of situations and they also indicates that who we actually are.
So actually in the book itself the author highlighted the importance of assessing our attributes like patience,decisiveness, accountability,etc which is beneficial to understand ourself that how we react to any situations so i would say go through this article i have attached here and let me know in the comments down below that how it changed your perspective and i would love to have a deep conversation with you on that.
